Sega Saturn Emulator?

i have some sega saturn games and i’d like to play them on my pc. is there any emulator i should use? if so which one? i have Satourne emulator right now but i can’t figure it out. it only loads the sega saturn bios and then stays at like a cd player menu tha says play/pause and i can’;t do anything from there. please help me!!!

There aren’t any good Saturn emulators at the moment, because the Saturn was an archetectural nightmare. Instead of having 3 processors like most systems had then (and still do today; CPU, GPU, and input control processor), Saturn had 9, including 2 CPUs, 2 2D GPUs, and a 3D GPU. It was originally designed as “the ultimate 2D gaming system”, but they decided at the last minute (after seeing what the PlayStation could do in 3D) that they needed to make their system work in 3D as well. Since it was a last-minute choice, the only solution they could come up with was to duplicate pretty much everything in the system, and then modify one of the duplicates for 3D. Made it a nightmare to program for.

Now that multi-core processors are becoming common, it will be possible to make a decent emulator for it, but before that happened, it was seriously looking like we’d be having workling PS2 emulators before Saturn ones.
