modding game systems?
modding a game system is illegal?? the climate is through current hard mod or soft mod? im not talking change the look, like saying I wanted to mod my Xbox or PS3 or Wii, putting in a mod chip would be considered illegal??
Actually, it depends on the console. Read here the psp software license agreement http://www.scei.co.jp/psp-eula if you read section 2 expressly prohibits any modification. Since the use of console is considered acceptance of these terms, is actually illegal or even mod your PSP modded firmware downloads. I have not read up on licensing agreements for other consoles such as those listed, but may have similar clauses. In any case, I would not worry about it. mod people all the time, and really does not cause any problem, except for voiding your warranty. Illegal or not, is very popular, and honestly, who's going to take you? The police will not blow up in his house and seize your console.
